Mica tape for fire resistant cables is composed of
phlogopite mica paper or synthetic mica paper, no-soda
fiber glass cloth and small amount of high heat
resistant silicone binder.The tape is used as fire and
heat resistant layer between conductor and sheath in
fire resistant cable.
